A Guide to Choosing the Right pad synth

Will I leak if I swim on my period?

Will I leak if I swim on my period? No. If you're using the right products to manage your level of flow, you will not leak when you're swimming on your period.

Can you wear a pad in the pool?

When you get out of the water your period will flow again normally, so it's a good idea to use a tampon or menstrual cup while swimming. Pads and pantyliners aren't a good option because they will absorb water and become ineffective.

What's the difference between synth and lead?

In music, a synthesizer is an instrument that performs sound synthesis, or creating new sounds using electrical, analog, and/or digital processes. Leads and Pads are loose terms for kinds of sounds made by synthesizers. A lead is generally something in the musical foreground, playing a melody.

Should I buy a synth or keyboard?

When choosing between a keyboard and a synthesizer, you simply have to consider how you're planning on using it. If you want to learn piano and don't need a ton of extra features, a keyboard would work great. If you're looking for a useful tool to add to your home studio, a synthesizer would be the much better choice.

Do synths need to warm up?

Most analog synths, such as the Mother 32, need to warm up in order to stay in tune. You can play the synth right after you turn it on and you will not damage it in any way. It may not hold its pitch however, until the circuits have warmed up.

Should I still change my pad if there is nothing on it?

It's not a good idea to go an entire school day without changing pads, pantiliners, or tampons. No matter how light your flow is, or even if there is no flow, bacteria can build up. Changing your pad every 3 or 4 hours (more if your period is heavy) is good hygiene and helps prevent bad odors.
