What is intermediate guitar level?

To be considered an intermediate player, you'll need to be able to do the following: Know and be able to change smoothly between your fundamental open chords. Know power chords and be able to move them around cleanly. Know the basic Major and Minor bar chord shapes. Know the note names on the Low E and A strings.

What type of flute do professionals use?

Professional concert flutes are usually made of sterling silver or a lower-quality metal with sterling silver plating. Piccolos are an exception as they're made of wood or specialized laminates.

Which flute is better for beginners?

The concert flute is the instrument of choice for beginners. Beginner school bands usually introduce the flute in the fourth or fifth grade. It is important for young players to be large enough to reach the keys without straining the neck or hands.

What are the cons of playing the flute?

One of the biggest cons of playing the flute is that there are A LOT of flute players out there. This makes it difficult to get into honors bands or districts, since you will be competing with many more players than, say, a bassoon player.

Does Grade 8 music count as an A level?

The simple answer is: yes (but it's not quite that simple). Grade 8 piano is classed as a Level 3 qualification in the UK. Level 3 qualifications include A-levels, amongst other qualifications. This means that Grade 8 is the equivalent of an A-level in that it falls in the same classification bracket as A-Levels.
